How to Knit Glove Fingers

By | August 26, 2016

Learn how to knit the fingers on gloves using my “Be My Valentine” Fingerless Gloves pattern, which you can find at girlyknits.com or here!: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/be-my-valentine-flirty-fingerless-gloves-with-vday-messages-in-girls-and-adult-sizes I will be showing you all of the steps that you will need to take to knit each finger on your glove, from casting on stitches for the fourchette, picking up stitches for the fourchette, and knitting your fingers in the round on double-pointed needles. I will show you a trick to use when binding the fingers off, and how to close up holes that may have formed at your finger fourchettes when you are finished knitting the glove and are weaving in your ends. I hope the tutorial helps, and please let me know if you have any more questions in the comments below!

Would like to knit the fingers using a different color.  Do you have a pattern for this?  Nice tutorial!  Thank you…..

when you cast on for the pinky right at the beginning, are you knitting it through any stitches or are they just floating on one of the needs?

I was like "Hey, I can knit a scarf, why not knit a glove?"
Now I'm like "Nope, Nope, Nope…too complicated. Online shopping it is!"

Thank you for the video tho! It was really clear :)

Thank you.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!  After watching your video I've managed to do 3 1/2 fingers on my gloves and I really think I'll be able to finish all the fingers on this pair.  This is the best help I've found for knitting gloves.
