N'Ice Caps Boys Sherpa Lined Micro Fleece Four Corner Ski Hat and Mitten Set (4-7yrs, Black/Charcoal Grey)

N’Ice Caps TM boys soft sherpa lined micro fleece ski hat with 4 corners stitch and mitten set. Adjustable velcro chin strap on hat, elastic on mitten wrist. Colors: black/charcoal grey, navy/red, royal/black, black/turquoise, black/yellow. 4 sizes. One size fits 6-15 months (care label says 12-24mo, we recommend for 6-15mo), one size fits 18-36 months (care label says 2T-4T), one size fits 3-5yrs (care label says 4-7, we recommend for 3-5yrs); one size fits 4-7 years (label says ‘Child’). For infant size 6-15 months, the mittens do not have thumbs. For larger sizes 18-36 months, 3-5 years, and 4-7 years, the mittens have thumbs. Tested and approved as per CPSIA standards.

    I’ve purchased many mitten/hat sets for my kids over the years, but this one has to be the warmest. This set was for my 14-month old and I bought the 18-36 month size – it fits him perfectly now, but he probably won’t be able to wear it next year. The mittens are a little big but his coat has sleeves that can be cinched over the mittens so they don’t fall off (and he would pull them off himself anyway, regardless of fit). There is a nice long strip of Velcro on the chin strap which makes it harder for baby to yank the hat off (most hats I’ve purchased just have a little square, so I’m constantly picking the hat off the ground). The only negative thing I can say about this set is that the Velcro gets gunked up easily (the hooked side picks up a lot – especially from the sherpa lining). But if you close the Velcro strap when not in use, or when washing/drying, it shouldn’t be a problem.
    This is my new favorite set, so I will be purchasing in a larger size for next winter.

    This hat and mittens set is exactly what I was hoping it would be! I bought the large for our (almost) seven-month old son (he has a big head), and it was a tad big but perfect for the beginning of winter since he’ll definitely grow over the next few months. Super soft and I love the velcro chin strap on the cap to help it stay on. The mittens were also easy to put on and didn’t seem bother our son, which I was worried about originally.
