    Product is quite effective, and worth a try. If you like it, you’ll probably buy more. My wife and I are doing everything we can to improve my son’s comfort and prevent him from damaging his skin during itchy episodes, and this has been a tremendous help. All of his cuts from scratching all over his body and forehead are almost gone. My son didn’t like this at first, but we made it a routine around times when he tends to scratch the most. Also, almost every time we put these on him, I gently explain that his mittens are helping him feel better and that he’s a good boy (with a hug and kiss of course) so that he understands he’s not being punished. I also explain that he only needs to wear them for a little while and we will take them off soon.

    This is honestly the best purchase I have ever made. Within a week, the damage created to my 3 year old by her dermatillomania is almost completely gone. The only negative I will say is that it is easier for the child to take off than what it says. My little one was able to take it off in a matter of minutes. Luckily the trick is to put it under their shirt and it stays in place. I’m so thankful to have found this shirt.

    My 2-year-old was picking a rash that was on both sides of his face while falling asleep and while riding in his car seat. I couldn’t keep bandaids on him and he was still managing to pick with his nails filed to the quick. I was about to attempt sewing socks onto his pajamas and then I found these mitten sleeves (huge sigh of relief). He put up a complete fuss in the beginning (naps, bedtime and car rides) but I considered them to be like a seat belt and gave him no other option. He was totally fine with them by the second week and his face is now almost healed by the 4th week. They are a nice quality material, wash well and the mitten ends are satiny soft. These mittens saved my son’s beautiful face!
