I have a 6 year old with slender hands and a 4 year old with wider hands and these gloves work great on both of them. I ordered them both the size 5-7yrs and have no issues with the the wrists being too small to get their hands in. They wore these in the snow two days in a row so far this weekend and both had warm, dry hands when they came in and took them off. There is enough extra room in the ends that I think we might get two years of use before they grow out of them. I would definitely recommend these mittens.

I’m not really sure how to review these. They seem well-made, if they would fit! The wrist opening isn’t big enough for my son’s hand to fit through (he’s 3) and they are way too long. I would think they would make the wrist opening bigger and more flexible for little, wiggly hands to fit through since they include a Velcro strap to secure the mitten to the child’s wrist. And if my child can’t fit his hand into these without a difficult struggle and they are already too long, then I can’t imagine sizing up! For reference, my child has narrow hands and is quite thin. They would need to majorly redesign these before we would consider them again.
