Grabby Gloves are spandex mittens with Velcro attached to them. They enable even very young infants to lift and manipulate specially designed toys which also have Velcro attached to them. Research done using similar mittens, developed by Amy Needham at Duke University, suggests that this experience enhances infants’ perceptual and motor development.
