This is my first time attempting this kind of stitch and the post stitch is good but the raspberry stitch is tight. I'm a doing something wrong?

Love this glove. I had a problem with the sizing. The cuff was good but when adding the pattern I then couldn't get that part on my hand. I altered by skipping just one stitch and making a Raspberry stitch which double the raspberrys but it fits me better. Love them.
