N’Ice Caps TM boys 2 ply fleece jockey wrap around hat with matching 2 ply mitten. Elastic in back, adjustable wrap around with velcro. Great cold weather wear. Available in 3 sizes. One size fits 12-24 months, one size fits 2T-4T, one size fits 4-7yrs.
Colors: black/red, black/yellow, navy/red, navy/charcoal grey. Tested and approved as per CPSIA standards.

My son is 2 1/2 yrs old, with a head circumference in the 90th percentile. The hat fit him well, even though there seems to be room to grow. The mittens were pretty large on him, but the wrist elastic is snug enough to keep them from falling off. The mittens are not waterproof, obviously, but they are very warm! He got to wear this set during snowfalls and 15-20 degree weather. The fabric is nice and warm and is double-layered for extra wind resistance. The bill of the cap works well to keep snow and sun out of his eyes. The best part, of course, is the wrap-around part of the cap. It goes down plenty far enough, in the back, to keep my son’s neck warm. The pieces that connect, in the front, can cover his face or be pushed below his chin. The Velcro is generous enough to get a tight fit, and to loosen it as he grows. For the price, I am very satisfied with this set and I would recommend it.

The hat keeps my 4 year old son’s head, ears, and around his face warm enough to be out in 25 degrees of powder snow and sunshine. The gloves, however, are not water proof nor are they water resistant. My son only wore them for ten minutes before they’d soaked completely through and his poor tiny fingers burned from the cold. We ended up buying a second set of gloves to wear as liners for these but have yet to test this method yet. I will update this review as the Winter season wears on.

I bought this set for my 22 month old daughter. I was having a very hard time finding a hat that was warm and fit. Everything was either an infant hat or for big kids or not warm at all. We live in Minnesota, so serious warmth is a must! The hat and mittens are both great. She love that she can use her thumbs in the mittens and I love that she can’t get them off. The wrap around feature of the hat is great to help keep it on and for added warmth. they both fit her right now and I think will make it through next winter as well.
