Stayed on better than Gerber, October 6, 2016

When it comes to newborns, those nails can be sharp and dangerous. Our favorite solution was clothes with the built-in mittens, but for everything else, we found these Safety 1st ones to work the best. Compared to the cute, thinner ones (gerber brand), which we had to put back on repeatedly, these stayed on amazingly well. They are bigger but the elastic and design work better. We never used the thumb hole part, but to not have to put them back on every time our LO flailed his arms, it was worth it to buy this extra 2 pack. At about 6 weeks old, the gerber ones were staying on better, but still not as reliably as the safety 1st mittens.

There’s no reason why these would stay on any better than any other mittens and they are very very large. Certainly not for a newborn. I would think by the time these fit on a baby they would be able to take them off on their own
