I am using a thirty one peg loom. I'm 11. How do I tighten them to make it smaller?

how long should the yarn be before you make the thumb hole?

How much yarn is used? I have some really nice soft yarn I want to use, but I don't want to waste it if I don't have enough. I'm specifically trying to get the men's length of yarn.

Woohoo!! The second one is done. They were so easy to make. My husband thinks they're cool. 🙂 I'm proud of myself. In a humble way of course. I used the Lion Brand Tweed Stripes in the color Caramel. I love it. Now to make a hat to match. Thanks again for sharing this. Gosh I might just make lots of these. lol Take care, Janet

Hi Denise, I just finished my first glove. It looks great! Not perfect but you couldn't tell. 🙂 I haven't done that bind off before. I did okay. Lol Hopefully tomorrow or later today I should say since it is almost 5 am, I will be able to make the second glove. I have a question…is there a book that tells about all the cast on methods and when to use them? The advantages and disadvantages of using one over the other? Did that sound right? And the same with all the different knit stitches? I guess that is four questions. Lol
Okay, gotta go. Thanks for sharing your talents. I have learned a lot from you. Have a great day. Thank care, Janet

I was wondering what type of yarn are you using or should use ? Thank you for your time :)

I've got the main part down, but I'm struggling with the thumb. Whenever I follow the steps it turns into 3 smaller opens.

How many pegs would you use for a woman's hand? I was following another video that used 24, so I tried using 24 with this one but it looks way too wide for my arm.

Love your videos – so easy to follow directions – I just finished one hand, on to making the 2nd hand now – I was planning on making a double layer hoodie (like Assassins Creed) prefer to use my loom – but my Mom has not been well – and her hands were like ice – so I decided to make these – can't post my pic here but you can see my link on FB https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10153351704456517&set=a.10151409737976517.1073741827.663181516&type=3&theater
I used a different kind of yarn so it looks a little more bulky 🙂
Thank you again – and if you have or know where I can find a double layer knit loom hoodie – please let me know 🙂 thanks

I JUST finished mine… I LOVE them!! I will so be making these for gifts next year… Feel accomplished I got another one of your projects checked off my "Must make these!" List… <3 And I love that you can do it with just one strand; and they come out just great! Thanks again sweetie!!! <3 <3 #yourock

Instead of the U wrap can you use an E Wrap all the way around?

Finally got the thumb hole! Now all I have to do is figure out the bind off, it's very difficult for me, thanks! Just thought I would give you an update that I can finally make them!

Okay, so I have tried this several times with no success 🙁 So are we only skipping the ONE peg each time we go around, or one peg on EACH side, making it a total of two skipped pegs for the thumb? So when I tried these last time, I skipped one peg on each side (the two next to each other) one on each when going around either way. When I was done with the thumb, there was just this weird loop thing where the thumb should be, so I just let the loop go and it's just a bunch of loose strands under the thumb hole. Fine for me, but not correct and will fall apart, and I want to make my sister a pair for her birthday with this awesome expensive super wash worsted tie dyed yarn, so I don't want to mess it up. Otherwise besides the thumb hole, and my kind of messed up bind off, it's good enough. Please help! Lol I want to make this happen so bad!

I have several questions. I have attempted doing this twice with no success. When you are knitting in the round for the thumb hole, you say don't knit those two pegs, but it shows you knitting the one to the right when you are on your second half of the round. So for the thumb, do you just skip the two pegs the whole time for the thumb or just the one? Also, when you are doing the modified bind off, when do you start doing the two pegs together at once? You never really say when that begins, and I have watched several times so I know it doesn't go by the markers. Can you shed some wisdom on these questions? Thanks!
