Not what I was expecting. Assumed with thinsulate theyâd be waterproof/resistant but they are not. Easier than most mittens to put on and given how young our daughter is, sheâs not out in the snow very long so the waterproof factor isnât a big deal. They keep her hands toasty and the price point is right.

A little on the large size for my daughter who was 11 months at the time we needed these, but they seemed to be the best we could find that would almost fit her. It was only to sit in the snow for a few minutes so it wasn’t a big deal, we will get to use them next winter too.
