    These really aren’t too bad at all, however, even with the velcro closure, they will still slide off of my 4 month old’s hands. That said, they do hold up great to baby slobber and keep the little one’s hands warm.

    We just hate those mitts! Our 14 month old has been wearing them since the beginning of the winter, and we can never make them stay on. They just don’t stay on, and don’t even think about trying to pu your kid’s thumb in the mitt’s thumb! One shake of the hand, and they’re off, and even when we put his jacket’s sleeve over them, he still manages to take them off. They are not tight enough, or the velcro doesn’t go far enough. The string is nice and necessary if you don’t want to lose one, but again, maybe you’ll want to do just that!
