We have 6 month old twin boys with Down Syndrome and they still claw their little faces up pretty bad. We were having a hard time finding bigger mittens in stores so I took a chance and ordered these and was thrilled with them. Great deal, plenty of room to stretch their finger out and no elastic marks on their wrists.

Baby is 2 months old and gets out of other mittens like Houdini. These are the first mittens that would actually stay on. I was worried that it might be too tight on the wrist, but not at all. No marks whatsoever. The mittens are wide enough, they give a lot of room for the baby’s open hand. That is probably part of the reason they stay on. I would recommend this item.

    Product un-sewn easily., November 10, 2014

You pretty much get what you paid for. We received the product and they are in fact larger than your normal newborn mittens, but once washed they will shrink as other has indicated. I think we received a bad batch. Our son is only 2 1/2 months old and we thought these mittens will prevent him from scratching himself during the middle of the night. Unfortunately, we noticed that these mittens threads tend to un-sewn and fall apart easily. It didn’t just happened with the first pairs of mitten it also occurred with the second and third.
