I don't waste my time with bee's wax, linseed oil etc. The only thing I use linseed oil on is my ax, spear, and shovel handles made of wood. I buy a spray can of Kiwi silicone boot protector for 5 bucks at wallyworld and soak my boots with it three times, letting it dry completely between applications. I can stand in water up above my ankles and never get my feet wet or even get moisture inside of the boot. They are not lace up boots. They are pull on Wolverine leather work boots. Those three applications will last for 6 months if I'm not soaking them everyday for weeks at a time. It's a lot easier faster and works better then bees wax or other stinky flammable products. I don't see any reason why that same simple process I use on my boots would not work on leather gloves.

Feel free to experiment. I use paper towels because I always have them in the house and workshop. Great for cleanup, linseed oil, or even for adding a patina to a carbon steel blade.
    Thanks for watching.

Well like all leather treatments it's a good idea to repeat the process at least once a year depending on how much you use them. I have never tried soaking anything. I once tried to coat a pair of jeans but it was a huge mess and I ended up throwing them out. lol
    Thanks for watching.

Those gloves are really looking nice man! I'm gonna keep an eye out for unlined gloves. You're right about the cheapo kit, I've had a 'stainless steel' thermal flask getting all rusty on the inside within 2 days so I'm careful with budget kit even though I love it. Hey have a nice weekend in advance
