This video is a detailed step by step tutorial showing you how to crochet a knot baby hat.
If you do not want a seam down the back of your hat then follow the following instructions from round 16 onwards:
-complete the slip stitch using the same colour
-fasten off
-attach your new yarn at the beginning of the next round
-For size 0 – 3 months use a 4mm crochet hook
-For size 3 – 6 months use a 4.5mm crochet hook
-For size 6 – 12 months use a 5mm crochet hook
-For size 12 – 18 months use a 5.5mm crochet hook
-For size 18 – 24 months use a size 6mm crochet hook
For my baby hat I used a 4mm crochet hook and Drops Lima yarn.
