You will not have to buy another pair of gloves for years and year, or until you lose one of the gloves. If you could find an identical pair of leather gloves, then it might be a good idea to buy an extra pair, just in case you lose one of the gloves. Perhaps you could buy two or three pair of these gloves at once and keep the rest as backups.
These types of gloves are great for driving too. Those made of fabric, if kept dry, will help keep your hands warm when you touch the steering wheel in the car, but if they are made of leather, they will repel the cold even better, especially if they are lined with fur.
