There are several good sources for men’s reproduction clothing on- and offline. One of the best is Lavender’s Green, run by Kay Demlow. She reproduces men’s clothing from the 1830s through the Titanic era. I’ve got links to other purveyors of men’s reproduction clothing in my Costume Links section. As far as patterns go, I recommend that you pop over to Harper House Patterns and scan through what they have available. They carry practically every historical pattern on the market today.Well, without it you may embarrass the ladies! Yes, you may wear your kilt, your renaissance garb, your ethnic costume or whatever else you wish. In fact we encourage you to get into the spirit of the event.
When and where will AWA be held this year?
The satelitte hotels will provide shuttle service to the Renaissance Waverly Hotel during AWA. Most hotels are within walking distance of the Renaissance Waverly Hotel. Please call the hotel that you are staying in to have them arrange a shuttle to pick you up. SHOPLIFTERS WILL BE PROSECUTED. Every year we lead someone off in handcuffs and tears. I only do doll clothing, and that includes: Pullips (Bodies: Type 1, 2, 3, SB2, SB3, SB4), Mini Pullip, Dal, Namu, TaeYang, and Obitsu slim male bodies. I try not to do anything I don’t have a model for.
