how many inches did you do of the purple glove?

I was wondering where can I find the pattern the website perverted doesn't work anymore.

thank you for the great tutorial. My very first hand warmer turned out perfect?

Staci, I've actually made a pair of these before but I just got to the thumb gusset and have a question — I don't remember what I did last time:
I just watched your video but it doesn't clarify my question. In doing the thumb gusset in her R4 she says to "continue on this way… until there are 17 stitches."
OK, BUT … does she mean keep repeating R4? Or does she mean keep repeating one increase row and one non-increase row, R3 then R4 until there are 17 stitches?

Hey Staci! I have two questions.
The glove I made seems a little too big for my hand. Or at least, I want them tighter. Is decreasing the number of cast on stitches enough to remedy that? Does it matter on which needle I do it (N1, N2 or N3)?

Also, is it a good idea to double knit them? How will it affect measurements?

Thanks a bunch, love your videos :)

Thank you for the concise tutorial! Made a white pair for my son to match the white hat he always wears! I didn't add the P1/K1 at the end, used size 3 dpns, worsted weight Caron acrylic yarn. Also used less stitches (cast on 40 and the thumb stop at 15 st.) I'm so excited to be able to successfully make thumbs now! Hugs

Your long blue mitts are stunning, I'd love to make a pair for my daughter. Could you tell me the total mitt length , the length to the start of the gusset and the length of the thumb after the joining of the 17 stitches on the DPNs. I've made mitts before and these measurements would allow me to make these lovely mitts for Christmas.

Thank you so much for your tutorials, I learn so much. Whenever I have a problem with a project or a technique I know I can always find an answer with your concise instructions. You've saved me so much time and stress. I'm a super fan of yours.

Hey! thanks for the tutorial! so far so good!
I am just kinda confused in the thumb gusset…. so it is: marker, Make one Left, then knit, then Make one Right, marker
and then continue with the circle…
then when you encounter the marker is it: marker, ML, knit ALL the way to the marker, and then…. MR?, then put the marker again?
or is it: marker, ML, knit until the MR (before the marker), MR, and then marker?

Hey!  What a surprise–that seems to be an Anthony Pack monkey on the shelf back there.  Thanks for your videos, they have helped me a lot recently.

How much do your modified mitts weigh?  I love the longer thumb and hands and I want to make sure I have enough yarn for that variation from a left over skein!

sorry…I don't understand how I can increase on my finger….thx

  14. Leyla Cüre

Hello, it's very good thanks but I seriously don't understand what is going on right after the 15th minute. So you put some yarn into the stitces (gusset part) and how do they get up to seventeen? It was the hardest part to understand, it would be best to not to skip that part while making this video. Help please :)

hi, great video, if I'm using magic loop method how do i calculate which part i should k1 p1 and which part i should just knit?

  16. Leyla Cüre

Hi, nice tutorial, thanks. But what size are the needles that you are using? I checked the pattern it says 3 but i guess yours are bigger, right? At least, I hope, because I'm a beginner and I know I can't finish with size 3 needles :D
