I love all of your videos! I have a friend who wants a pair and I'm definitely going to follow your instructions,

awesome video and easy voice on my ears 🙂 My first leg warmers came out too big because the pattern i followed by someone else joined the first chain closed.  So I was wondering if I could make fingerless gloves without joining the first chain so I get the size right on the first try.  After MANY videos I came upon your pattern which is so much easier for someone like me who's done only scarfs until this past year. So excited they'll fit immediately! ty so much! :D

Okay so know less than a 5.5 hook then but I do want it to be a tight weave but nooo not stiff at all 🙂

Hi Kriss! Hey, that's great that you are getting lots of orders!!

If you ae going to use eyelash along with worsted weight, I think 6 mm would be good… at the smallest 5.5, but anything smaller than that will be too tight, and might turn out stiff.

Oh also … if I wanted maybe a tighter weave… should I go down a size or so in my hook? I am also going to be using a worsted weight yarn and a eyelash yarn held together … 🙂 so what size hook should I use and wanting a tighter stitch too?

Hi Kriss, yes you can add a thumb, just work around the opening. And yes, make them as long as you like… just start with a longer foundation chain.
