This is a cute little hat that I think has a quaint elven quality. The yarn used in making this is a medium weight, it feels like. Not too thin, but maybe not thick enough for a VERY cold winter. It feels slightly woollen, but it isnt. It got a bit static-y in the wash, but otherwise washed and retained its shape well. I would recommend this hat, I think its just darling! I ordered both colours (separately, so still waiting on one) and was pleasantly surprised at how quickly they hit the U.S./arrived at my house. When I realized they were coming from China I was a bit worried about how long the arrival might take. Turns out I worried for nothing! I think they arrived about 21/2 to 3 weeks earlier than anticipated.
