DIY Scratch Mittens for Infants

This simple step by step video shows how to make scratch mittens for newborns.

Items you will require

Scissors
Elastic Thread
Sewing Thread
Sewing Machine
Scratch Mitten Pattern
Material (Cotton or Fleece)

Instructions

1. Draw and cut out a mitten pattern by tracing around an existing scratch mitten onto a piece paper or by downloading a template.

2. You will require four individual cutouts of the pattern to get a set of scratch mittens. Hem each individual pattern.

3. Next, sew together two cutouts. Remember to sew together the reversed side of the material and leave the bottom portion un-sewed.

4. Once, materials have been sewed together. Turn the mittens inside out.

5. Lastly, using an elastic thread sew around the circumference of the scratch mitten.
